Patchwork Girl

One of the most traditional & simple of all blocks, the nine patch, can be set in a myriad of ways and never fails to bring something wonderful to any design. This particular version came about when Joanna was playing around with a set of pink nine patches and some chocolate brown bars. Joanna loves how the nine patch blocks create that continuous chain and the bars create a secondary pattern for your eyes to discover.

This pattern would also look stunning in a simple 3-fabric combination of green, cream & red for the holidays or perhaps cream, pink & green for a feminine springtime quilt.

Pattern includes simple instructions for strip piecing & cutting, tips on layout and quilting.
