Can you believe we are celebrating the Forth of July? Happy Independence Day, especially to those who have given so much for our freedom.

News

We are excited to have 2 days off in a row- yes, we are CLOSED both Saturday and Sunday but open on Monday, July 5th 10am-4pm for your shopping pleasure. We will also be open on Friday, at our usual times. No exploding fireworks just plain fun hanging with your friends. Stop by and see all the new goodies. Fabric arrives almost daily. In fact this week we have already gotten the cutest Halloween fabric from Red Rooster, "Happy Haunting". We also got Jennifer Chiaverini's fabric line "Aloha". Yes, the same gal that authors the "Elm Creek Quilt" books.

Notions

The ruler demo on Saturday was so enlightening. Can you believe what the designers continue to come up with? Stop by and Play with the newest collection from Creative Grids USA. The curved square and rectangle ruler were amazing but the Storm at Sea ruler is a must for my stash. I have been dieing to work on that block and now the ruler should make it easier.

Machine Servicing

Are you headed out of town soon? That is a great time to have your sewing machine serviced and cleaned. George is here every Monday, including the 5th of July. If you give your machine the spa treatment it will be so happy when you to return rested.

Classes

We do have a few UFO, open sewing, days coming up. On Friday, July 2nd, Wednesday the 7th and Thursday the 8th. For just $10 you can enjoy our large classroom with friends and "space" to get things done. Just let us know if you plan to attend. Challenge

Our Challenge continues: You guys are "Sew" clever. Drop us a note explaining what quilting is to you in just THREE words. Several are posted on the front windows and many chuckles can be heard as you stop to read them.
