JaM Patch News ---- The Closing Continues

Hi to all,

It was so kind of all of you to come and visit on Friday and Saturday the first two days of our STORE CLOSING SALE.  Although a lot of fabric, notions, patterns, books, etc. have gone to good homes, there is still a great selection for you to take home as well.  The entire store is 30% off.  That means everything except.....the staff....they cost more.  The discount is taken at the register. We do accept cash, checks, credit and debit cards.  If you possess a purchased JaM Patch Gift Certificate, they are still good.  The Clubhouse Gift Certificates have been invalid since February 28th, 2011. We are now in day 5 and you are still coming and partaking in the great value the store is affording you.  Thank you!

We do want to clarify a few things.  We will be open from 10am to 4pm Monday through Friday and on Saturdays (starting with the 9th of April) we will be open from 10am to 2pm.  We are not closing on any given date yet, but feel we will probably not be open any regular hours after April 30th.  Our lease ends May 31st.  We will continue to share with you any future plans. We do not plan to leave the area, no we are not ill (thank god) and no our business is not in financial trouble.  We are wanting to be as most of you are...retired.  We want to explore our own homes, take time with our families and friends, enjoy our own style of quilting and finish UFOs.  The horizons we feel are so wide open in the quilting world that we want to look into to them and share what we find with you, if it works out.  Thank you for your concern.  There is nothing further to say, we are very happy!  We know that you are happy for us.

More than anything else we do thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the kind words you have shared with us.  It is nice to know that you have enjoyed your visits to the JaM Patch and we have enjoyed hosting you.  We are excited to be able to now partake in all the quilt show trips, road trips and just general fun of quilting.  Margy and I love quilting and now we will be able to enjoy it as someone told us as a "civilian."  So we are staying the area and will be at the guilds and enjoying the art we so love.

A reminder, Geroge is still here on Monday to clean and service your machines.  Be sure to get them cleaned before you head up north for the summer.  A little lint and our humidity are BAD for your machine.

Again thank you and hope to see you soon.

Our best,
Joey and Margy
