JaM Patch News ----- Bread and Butter Weekend

Happy Holidays to all,

We are sitting with no air conditioning running, the door open and a sweater on!!!!   Yeah, can this get any better?!  Well, we could miss the freeze warnings but the day is beautiful, crisp and feels like the holidays.  The classroom has been busy with the last Civil War 150th Commerative Quilt  class and, boy, have those girls been working their little piecing hands off.  They all look fabulous and what an accomplishment.  This past Saturday was the final meeting of the 2010" Village Green" Thimbleberries Club and the quilts are looking fantastic.  We sure had fun and we thank all of the BOM participants for their continued support and assistance in making The JaM Patch special.

This Saturday is the sewing session of the Bread and Butter Society and will be featuring the quilt called "Toast and Jam."  We will not be having a Wednesday, December 8th class due to lask of attendence that day.  It begins at 9am on Saturday and will end at 1pm but you can stay and sew.  Here is a picture of the quilt we will be doing and space is still avaialble.  It is $10.00 for the class and pattern.  Fabric is seperate and we do have one kit for $ 73.75.

The classroom is open for UFO sewing on Thursday and Friday, December 9th and 10th.  Remember you are welcome to come in and sew and use the facilities.  The fee is $10.00 for teh day and we open the room at 10am and it closes at 3:30PM.

The Christmas Specials continue.  They will end on Saturday, December 11th.  Don't miss out on Christmas Fabric at $6.00 a yard and old Christmas patterns, books and kits; buy one and get one free.

Remember the Pokey Challenge.  It is on the website at the following link.  www.jampatch.com/news-flashes.htm Just scroll past the information on "Beach Walk."  We want to see your work.....so don't be square and not enter.   We want to have them on display for the 5th Birthday Celebration in mid-January.

Please mark  your calendar  and try to stop by on one of the following days for our Holiday Open House, December 16, 17th or 18th.  It will be fun and informative and a thank you gift awaits you.  We will be here with bells on.  We will also be flashibng a few ideas 2011!

Just a reminder the JaM Patch will be closed December 24th, 25th and 26th and 31st, January 1st and 2nd.  We will be sharing with you on January 3rd the plans for the new year.  They will be different and new and we hope you will enjoy them.
