Basic Machine Quilting

This class is a great start off to machine quilting.  Kathy discusses why you use different needles, what threads do what and how batting can make a difference.  This is a good class for anyone who doesn't know all they want to know about quilting.  Even if you have quilted before but are unsure of why you did what you did, this is for you.  You will practice stitching in the ditch, grid work and other styles you do with your walking foot.  It is strongly recommended that your machine be in good working order and that you be familiar with your various feet.  We have found that working on 18" squares of muslin sandwiches affords you the best practice area.
