Class Guidelines

IF YOU AND TWO FRIENDS ARE INTERESTED, WE WILL SCHEDULE A CLASS.  We have left the pictures of classes not currently on the schedule, if one of them interests you let us know.  We are adding additional classes, what would you like to take????????

Our teachers request a minimum of 3 students per class.  We will inform you of the number of students signed up for your class and work to fill each class.  You will be notified when the minimum is met.  There is a maximum of 6 students per class for your comfort.  All class fees are paid in cash or check.  Checks are to be made payable to each individual teacher.

Cancellation:

Any cancellations due to class size or teacher emergency will result in full reimbursement of class fees.

Class fees are non-refundable.  We will make every effort to fill your class space if you are unable to attend.  At that time you will receive the class fee back.  You are not signed up for a class until full payment is received.

Class Hand-outs:

Our teachers have worked hard to develop classes. If you give away their hand-outs, you are giving away their work products.  Please let them know how much you appreciate their hard work by not sharing their hand-outs.

Lunch:

If your class runs through lunchtime you are welcome to bring a sack or visit one of our local eateries.  We share a parking lot with the Atlanta Bread Company and Jet’s Pizza, both favorites of the JaM.  Sit and Relax at “The Mitered Corner.”

Arrival Time:

We ask you to arrive early for scheduled classes.  Our store and class room will be open at least one half hour prior to your class time to better accommodate your arrival.  This will give you ample time to set up and get comfortable without disturbing the teacher and other students.  Thanks so much for your understanding.

Class Schedule:

We realize that a class maynot meet at times that are convenient with you.  If that be the case and you have a few friends who would like to take a class, we will try to schedule a class at the time convenient to you and providing the teacher is available.

We suggest that the time be used to trace, cut and work on our applique pressing sheets in the social and then going home to do all the fancy finishing work.  It will not require a sewing machine - hurrah.  You will bring your cutting supplies, fusible web, pattern and an applique pressing sheet.  No pressure just fun doing these projects together.

I know there are a lot of pictures but which one would you leave out.  And if you say the moose, you are on Joey's bad list.  So come and join us for the fun of doing these beautiful home decor pieces for your home or the best gift anyone ever got.

Please sign up early as possible. Space is limited.  We are beginning with the easiest - Gingerbread Lane, the first one up top.  It is to get us going with an unpieced back and a simplier design.
